TODAY’S TOURING
Checkout from the apartment was 11:00 AM. It was only a three (3) hour drive to the Lisbon airport. Checkin at the apartment in Lisbon wasn’t until 4:00 PM so the timing worked out well. We:
- Drove up the tight, circular ramp in the garage without damaging the auto; a great drive my Marty! 🙂
- Drove 3 hours to Lisbon airport to turn int the rental car
- Took a taxi to the Lisbon condo (€39) in the old, center of town
- Checked into vacation rental
- Settled into condo and rested
Dinner was at Oficina do Duque
- Exceptional food
- Great great desserts
- Good thing we had reservations, we got to eat inside on a cold evening
After dinner, we walked scenic route back to the apartment and enjoyed the night scenes at the small squares. We also stopped at a small store and bought bread, jam, etc. for breakfast.
