TODAY’S STATUS
This will probably be the last photo of Frankie’s house before the backhoe demolishes it.
FYI – The person who lived here was Frankie Hendrix. She was an aunt of Jimi Hendrix. When Jimi was young, he lived with her for awhile. Frankie cared for other relatives children. When she called them in from the yard or scolded them, the entire neighborhood could hear her. Her voice was strong, loud, and carried.
I remember Frankie feeding the crows every evening with sliced white bread thrown around the yard. The crows would swarm around the house each night before the feeding time. They knew a good thing.
